My passion has always been surfing and the ocean so it seems only natural that for a long time my photography has emphasised this. However, in recent years I feel my work has evolved in style and content and the intention of this new site is to reflect that.
I would describe two themes as having a particular inspiration and influence on my work. First, is a fascination for people and how they respond and relate to their environment. Second is the natural light and its constantly changing patterns on our landscapes. My challenge is to catch these moments in time whether they be people, landscapes or both interacting together and to show them to new eyes, saying, 'stop and take a look at this beautiful, weird, inspiring, awesome life!'
My work has been published in 'The Surfer's Path', 'Carve', 'Transworld surf,' and 'The World Storm Rider Guide,' as well as non-surfing publications such as 'The Sunday Telegraph,' 'Twenty4seven,' and 'Healthy Living Magazine.'
I am fully digital and shoot mainly with Canon Eos 5d and 30d.
